Board Notes before May 2004 General Meeting

We need to make announcements the week before and the week of the meetings.

There is considerable interest in scheduling the Traveling Art Show (TAS) from SIGGRAPH.  The TAS is a collection of art from the SIGRRAPH show that is sent around the world.  It typically should cost about $2000 to ship the show to us and takes booking about 2 years in advance.  Clay was interested in contacting the Portland Art Museum and the Art Institute to see if they might be interested in holding the show.

Michael will look into “Happy Hour” as a possible presenter.

Fran will be talking to a colleague at Vinton about presenting in September.

Clay is already talking with Dark Horse Comics about giving a presentation.
