Cascade ACM SIGGRAPH Board Meeting March 28, 2010

Attending: Demetra Gilmore Arnett (DGA), Kathleen O`Reilly (KTO) Bev Standish (BS) Jerrol Eschleman (JE)

• Treasurers Report
• LightTroupe
• Membership
• Annual Report

• Postcards with Patrick which would be ACM SIGGRAPH on one side LightTroupe on the other side
• Getting the postcards printed and posted on Cascade SIGGRAPH.org
• Survey Monkey would help find out level of membership
• What kind of food to serve and how to keep expenses down
• Volunteers for the event that would be provided by Demetra
• How do we want to do the door
• April 28th is the date set for The Democratization of 3D Cinematography
• April Board meeting set for April 25th
• Treasurer finished the ’08 – ’09 report

• We acknowledged tough times and that we are being challenged as an orgaization.
• 2 years with out a secretary.
• We need to do food that is inexpensive and promote it as “healthy.”
• What do we need to keep the registration at the door simple and efficient so that there is not a waiting line.
• Mike Roland requested to have the path to the send mail program on the server and the smtp in order to streamline Amember
• We can keep using Amember indefinitely. Money only involved if we wish to update the service.
• The ACM data base has not been receptive to Demetra’s annual report thus far.

• BS Call Serena for help on the next event
• BS Send Kathleen membership list
• BS send out renewal letter
• DA will coordinate volunteers
• KTO will get food and bring to event
